Looking for a relaxing place to stay next summer? Our large and spacious 4 bedroom 1.5 bath vacation home is filling up but we still have a few weeks available.directly on the Grand Etang harbour, watch the fishing boats from the deck, get your lobsters 50' from the house. We can even recommend a few local hikes for amazing views overlooking the harbour from the top of the highest mountain in the area.
Before and after pics of a recent renovation we completed last week on this beautiful shoreline home.New Kohltech windows,Versatex Vinyl trims and 24 red cedar shingles really woke this home up.
Not a bad view from this jobsite on this stormy December day!
We managed to squeeze in a nice kitchen reno during our busy fall season. Our new client recently purchased a local home and has been remodelling it to their liking.Kitchen needed some modern touches so new Glenwood maple shaker style cabinets and ceramic backsplash. New, modern and bright!
Started career build #34 today.30 years in the construction trade,(learned from the best builders in the area,I hope we're making them proud.)34 complete new homes, footing to finish. We’ve also done many renovations and we love making our clients dreams come true! And I’m envious of all these great locations that these homes are being built.I love the ocean and so do my clients!... Thanks to Ocean Breeze excavation Cory Aucoin for the neat excavation.
This is our Covid kitchen renovation.Newly painted cupboards, new ceramic floor, lighting, countertops and basement railingIt was time for a change after 25 years.BTW I was just the doer Paula Aucoin Camus was the thinker so credit should go to her!
What a morning the Grand Etang lobster fleet had for setting day.Good luck everyone involved!
Here is an update on our current new Home build.1000 sq ft ICF cottage plus garage.Cedar clapboard will have a clear finish applied, metal roof(new matte colour)Deck will be completed next week along with white wrapped support posts and siding around Garage door.We poured the garage today so we'll be ready for the garage door when it arrives.Crackfiller is hard at work and Painter is scheduled to start soon. Then finish work and another one done.Hopeful moving date is June 15,if all materials aren't held back due to the pandemic. Stay tuned for the final reveal. This customer has good design skills and it's going to look nice!Modern cottage style, which is what we love to work on!!!
Hi everyone, I hope this Pandemic still leaves everyone in good health after it leaves(hopefully soon!) Just a note to say that we're currently experiencing material supply issues and due to the social distancing laws,we really can't be working in occupied homes and even on our new builds where we're in close contact to each other.(I can't really afford a $7500 fine). We are also experiencing issues with building and electrical inspections as the inspectors are not visiting sites at this time. Hopefully this all blows over SOON and we can get back to what we do,building homes.
The stuff we go through to build a house,at least it’s not cold. Mud pies anyone???
I had an interview yesterday about our Suete winds and how we build here,I’ve copied the article to post here. The author did add on a few comments,One for example is that I told him most have generators, not everyone can afford one.

I haven’t updated my page lately,Just because I’ve been just too busy working on all of our 2019 worksites. So here’s a glimpse of what has been happening with KJC Home Renovations Ltd in 2019 and so far in 2020. I have 30 years experience in new home construction and major renovations. We do everything from Insulated concrete forms to traditional poured foundation and stick framed homes. We build turn key and cost plus material homes and have professional sub trades that help us build a quality product.
Happy Holidays and a very Happy New Year from all of us at KJC Home Renovations Ltd.We’re very thankful for all the support and we’re looking forward to another busy year ahead!
We are hiring! Looking for a hard working person that is dependable and doesn’t mind a good days work.We focus mainly on new home construction with some renovation work included.Individual must be able to work in cold conditions as we work year round .Competitive pay depending on experience,Please contact me by private message, text @ 9022240032 or email me @ [email protected] for more info.
I have to laugh when I see building products stamped with Miami/Dade wind approved standards. What do they do,put it on the beach? It should read Suete wind approved, but then it probably would fail the test. I had a discussion recently with a customer asking why we install outswing doors and extra bracing everywhere. The reason is so I can sleep at night knowing your new home is built to withstand category 5 hurricanes!Sure you might get some damage, but not like you would if we built to minimum code standards which locals know isn’t enough for the area! Good luck weathering the storm everyone!
Update on our Cap Lemoine project,Exterior is near completion(railings and finish stairs left to do)and interior is getting closer to drywall stage.
New home in Belle Cote is almost completed.Great design and we’re very pleased with the final result!Waiting on the Larchwood staircase components to arrive then we can finish it off.
Our newest build, started this one in October. The weather hasn't been the greatest this fall for exterior work,But our crew still managed to get it closed in before the holidays,Thanks guys!
A sneak peak of our 95% completed Belle Cote build. We only have the Larchwood staircase and a few odds and ends left to do.Better pictures to come after the cleaners clean up our mess!
Happy Holidays to all our past, current and Future customers. It's been a busy 2018 and hopefully 2019 will be just as good or even better.Enjoy the holiday season, Kevin,Marcel,Kenneth,Dave and Camille.
This roof was previously done in the summer and we had the privilege to install 5 seamless gutter. Thank you Reg LeBlanc and general contractor Kevin Camus.
Some progress on the Belle Cote build.Exterior is completed except for finish landscaping and interior is ready for drywall.
