Kevin and Harmony Redsky visited Ktunaxa Kinbasket Child and Family Services Society Tuesday afternoon as part of Kevin’s journey across Canada to call attention to the crisis of mental illness and suicide among youth. Kevin, supported by his wife Harmony, were in aq'am this week on the second leg of the Hope in the Darkness journey to the west coast. Kevin began Hope in the Darkness in 2018, walking from Newfoundland to Winnipeg, and this summer continues the journey from Winnipeg to Vancouver, working with schools, youth groups, Indigenous communities, mental health services and families. After taking a few days off to avoid the smoke, Kevin continued his walk Wednesday from Cranbrook to Moyie Lake. Follow his journey at Hope in the Darkness
