Thinkware update: Thinkware is dropping support for the FA200 through Thinkware Cloud and instead will be using the new Thinkware Dash Cam Link app. The FA200 will not work with this app until you manually download the latest firmware directly from their site (not through the Thinkware desktop program).... Before you do please be aware: 1. You must use the original Thinkware SD card. It is our experience that some like the SanDisk High Endurance ones will shut off the camera during the firmware update, interrupting the install and "brick" the camera. 2. If you turn off power to your dash cam any time during the update process you will likely "brick" the camera and need to send it in to Thinkware. Make sure your vehicle is running and stays running for the entire update process. As an alternative I've uploaded the Thinkware Cloud 4.3.25 android APK which you can install after removing the updated version, then search "Thinkware Cloud" in the play store, hit the 3 dots at the top right to disable automatic updates and it will work as it always has previously. The upload will be available for 30 days, but we will keep it handy in case it's still needed later on. The link for the 4.3.25 version is below. easyupload.io/515862 You can still use the Mac or Windows desktop programs to view recordings, save files and change settings. Only the app functionality has changed.

The latest version of the Thinkware Cloud app is not working properly. Check your app version on Android. 4.3.25 works properly, 4.3.26 does not. If you still have 4.3.25, uncheck the box for enabling auto-updates.... For anyone who has been updated already we will have a Dropbox link later today with the 4.3.25 version APK and instructions on how to install it. Your dash cam will still work correctly, this is only an issue for the Android app. We have not seen and cannot confirm whether or not iOS is facing the same issue. You can still take the micro SD card out of your camera to use in a computer with either a micro SD to full size SD card adapter, or the included USB adapter to view and save recordings to your computer.

We've noticed some posts on the neighborhood groups and wanted to clarify that Klean Detailz has nothing to do with us in any way. The detailing business was sold by us around 5 years ago and has gone through a couple of owners since. We have had nothing at all to do with it and it was an unfortunate decision to grant the original buyer's request to use a similar name. We are aware the current owner's website implies that they're part of us still but this is absolutely not the case. Any interactions anyone has had with them in the last half a decade has nothing to do with this company or its owner.
