Holy crap! Nope not rushing around for last minute Christmas presents! Harley and Howdy’s boyfriend is two hours north, they went up last week to be bred, then back to pick up Harley as she was out of heat. Haze came into heat on Monday, her boyfriend is three hours south, so off to meet his owner who thankfully had to make a run to Irvine’s. Back to south Calgary tonight to pick her up, then heading north again in the morning for Howdy...whew! Still trying to decide if we want our own stud male and all that entails with other neutered males on the property...

Yesterday’s project while the wind was low...staining the barn!!! Did most of it with my fun little electric sprayer that the paint hose kept coming off of stain everywhere! Under the eaves and around windows by hand. Even got a sunburn, 18 degrees out Looks so good, love the dark chocolate colour

Coffee break and lap dogs apparently we can sort of fit three, good thing I have a big easy chair!

Finally a home day yesterday!! Been to town for errands/supplies every day for a week! Ugh. Dogs and horses are all enjoying the beautiful weather, finally got some time to finish fencing the back yard with my helpers, and the barn is coming along!!... Insulation is so cool, it’s like a duvet for your roof lol!
