Social Distancing means reducing close contact between people to help slow the spread of infectious diseases like Covid-19. Slowing the spread of the virus will help our hospitals better position themselves to cope with needs of patients. If too many people get sick and require care, the hospitals will be overwhelmed and quality of care, or in worst case scenarios, even the ability to care for those in need will be compromised.
