I am saying goodbye to this wall. I loved it but now I am over it. What do you think I will do next?! Oh, and happy tushy Tuesday! Comment below!
So you want to book a boudoir session. Great! It’s actually super easy, here’s how it works: 1. Contact me! You can fill out a form on my website, message me here, send an email or an owl. Whatever works best for you. 2. We set up a phone consult. This is an important step to ensure that you get comfortable with me fast. You can hear my voice, go over everything and get a sense of who I am so you feel more comfortable on photoshoot day. 3. We set a date! ... It’s really that easy
This week has been one for the books! Is there something in the water? I think I’ve beat my all time record for inquiries and bookings in one week! I’m getting some common questions so I thought I would address them here: 1. You can book as far in advance as you want, in fact I recommend it. I am usually booked 3-4 months in advance so the earlier you get on the books, the better!... 2. Nope, you do not need to share your images online. 3. Yes, you can purchase a larger sized print. In fact, I recommend a billboard of your glorious ass. 4. Only your session fee is due upon booking. You purchase your images when you see them. I even offer payment plans!
Every conversation I have lately starts with I saw this on tictoc and today is no different. I learned some great advice today on tictoc by Judge Lynn Toler, it goes like this: You can’t make people do right by you but you can decide how often you let them do you wrong. ... Read that twice. Now adjust your fucking crown, Queen. See more
I’ve said it before and I will say it again: body language is the best part of photographing people! I live for it. The little micro-movements that are inherently unique to you are what keep this new and fresh for me, every single time.

Please join me in wishing this babe a super duper happy wedding day!
I have learned that some people will like the idea of you but not the idea of investing time in you. It’s a harsh awakening but the truth is: for every person who wants the surface you, there will another person who wants the real you. The you that is complicated, messy, passionate, and dynamic. Those people are worth waiting for.
Do you suffer from Imposter Syndrome? I sure do. I read a quote a while back (that I can seem to locate as I write this) but it compared Imposter Syndrome to gaslighting yourself. Every time you question your abilities or your seat at the table, you are manipulating yourself into thinking that’s your skills and talents aren’t real. ... So how does one overcome Imposter Syndrome? I have no idea. I would love to end this with some type of motivational speech but the truth is, I suffer from it and I don’t know how to make it stop. The silver lining: I don’t think I am alone. So many of us stare at the lives of others through a little window and think that they have it made. For every person you do that to, I betcha there is one doing it back to you. Ok, I do have something motivational to add here: Confidence isn’t the absence of fear. Confidence is AUDACITY. The audacity to try anyways.
Do you have a self care routine? Something that you do daily or weekly just for you? I’m trying to come up with one. I try to have a relaxing bubble bath and a hair mask once a week. I’m working on making fitness a self-care thing and I have been doing HIIT 3x/ week. Help me, I need some tips. What works for you? Comment below... Brand photography done for Marie Clay Co.
