When you see me, will you say I’ve changed? -Lorde, Writer In the Dark > > > When you look at someone, do you really see them? Do you merely see the picture you have of them in your mind, or do you see the image of themselves they’re desperately trying to portray? I believe that every individual is a mystery. We’re humans that are constantly evolving mentally, with every story we’re told and opinion we hear, therefore we can never truly know ourselves unless we keep trac...k of every shift in our personalities. It may seem overwhelming, but that’s actually the best part about being human. We keep learning new things about ourselves and it’s sensational because there’s no limit on how much we can discover. So when someone looks at us, can they really see us? No, but we can show them who we are for the moment... and every moment after that. @ Montreal, Quebec See more

The real difficulty is to overcome how you think about yourself. Maya Angelou > > School’s back on and I’m currently doing a module on image acquisition -basics of acquiring stock photos, photography theory, etc. -and it’s just another day/week/year of me doubting myself. Will I be good enough? Will I make it? What if I fail? What if they think I’m a fraud? Every part of me is screaming to run and quit...but then I don’t. Instead, I try and take it like a rollercoaster right before the drop you’ll be terrified, but you won’t die. You’ll make it to the end. @ Montreal, Quebec

To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe. Anatole France > > This is the last post I’ll be sharing from my shoot w/ @nushmua -thanks for being a great model! @ Montreal, Quebec

Took these shots literally in 4 mins sitting on a terrace’s table that we didn’t buy any food from. We begged them to just let us snap a couple pictures and these came out of it @ Le Plateau-Mont-Royal

Find a way to let it go. Do you miss the things you didn’t know? -Sour Keys, Brianna Clarke > > I miss waking up at 5 to watch cartoons -I didn’t know or comprehend the concept of under eye bags. I miss the feeling of going to grade 1 with messy hair and not having a care about appearances. I miss the excitement of turning 10 -double digits finally. I hadn’t realized that being a girl, the older you got meant more eyes on you. I miss leaving the house to play with friends and not being worried if I’d return home -not being worried if that man that’s been walking behind you is just going the same way or has other intentions. I miss the things I didn’t know. @ Le Plateau-Mont-Royal

The only way to do great work is to love what you do. - Steve Jobs > > I love taking pictures. I love the art of photography. I love to see the world as a picture yet to be taken. I love how every photographer sees the world a little differently, sees potential in different things. I love how every time I hold my camera, I feel exhilarated. I feel genuinely happy. I love my camera like you would love a baby. I love that you don’t have to have the greatest gear to make beautiful photographs. @ Parc du Mont-Royal
