Today is the last day of work for our 2019 summer staff, and they have a message they would like to share: "Thank-you to the volunteers who helped make this summer and all its opportunities possible. Thank-you also to everyone that came into the museum throughout the season! It has been a fantastic summer." (But the season isn't over yet!!! You still have until September 15th to come visit!)

After consulting many resources, volunteers, and guests, we are still at a loss as to what this tool was once used for. Please help us!

Our Grand Trunk Pacific Type F station is 100 Years old this year! Built in 1919 on the east side of the tracks, it remained in service for many years until moved in the 80's to its current location at Kneehill Historical Museum. As the only remaining station of the three known to be built in this style, our Station House is an important piece of Kneehill County history, as well as Alberta and Canada's. We hope you'll stop by before the end of summer to hear more stories about the station's first century and to pay it a visit in celebration of its big birthday year.
