Knights of New Hope

It’s been way too long since my last post. I have started recently going back to craft shows. I am trying to get people together that are interested in forming a committee that will help grow Knights of New Hope.... if you are interested please contact me. As a Christmas gift my wife Trudy Primeau put money on my ticket for my return to Kenya. I have some humanitarian aid to bring with me. So the planning begins..... I hope to return to New Hope in July. Updates to follow.....

Hi Everyone This is an Update on when Mrs Anne Chege from The New Hope Children's Centre in Uplands Kenya will be visiting Brockville. She is due to arrive in Ottawa on December 4th around 10 pm. She will remain in Brockville until December 27th when she will be returning to Kenya. I have booked her in a couple of Craft Shows but I wasn't early enough to get into one on December 8th. So if anyone hears of a craft show or location that she can sell her items from Kenya....It w...ould be tremendously appreciated. Contacts that were going to host her have backed out so any help would be amazing and very appreciated. Since we can no longer sell in the mall I am trying to find other ways for her to sell her items....and they are amazing and priced very reasonably. We have hand made bags and purses, Jewelry, water colour and Banana leaf art..Soap stone and wood carvings. Not only do the funds received help support the children of New Hope it also helps support families that are struggling to survive. Sorry that it has been so long between posts but life can be busy. The Knights of New Hope is slowly starting to grow. We now have children that are being sponsored by a family in Brockville and British Columbia. We also now have a private school in Toronto that is raising funds for the children of New Hope. Our next trip to Kenya will be from Friday October 12th until Friday November 2nd. I am the only confirmed person to go and I am eagerly awaiting others to confirm their interest in going on the trip. We have some fund raisers planned with the first being a paint party which is set for Sunday May 27th at 1 pm at the Union Jack Pub. The cost is $40 to attend. So spread the word as we need 20 spots paid for or it will have to be cancelled.
