Get to know Coach Laura better with the ‘Coaches Quiz’... 1. How old were you when you started playing rugby? ~I was 14 years old when I started playing high school rugby. My high school didn’t have a team so I played for another high school. 2. Who’s your favorite rugby player? ~Barbara Mervin @aptoella I always found myself watching her play, even when I was playing lol! She was fierce and made huge hits always pioneering for the women’s game. And still is!! 3. What’s your favorite food? ~Chips. All kinds. And dip!! 4. What’s your #1 song before a game? ~Celine Dion-Power ballads all the way!! 5. Why do you play rugby? ~Rugby has given me so many life skills. Teamwork, leadership, strength and will power to work hard to reach goals but my favorite thing about rugby is how inclusive it is. There is a place on the field for anyone. No matter their size or skill level and I love that!
