Good morning! With all the recent followers I thought I should introduce you to the face & hands behind Knitty Gritty! My name is Courtney Cabernel and I live in the small town of Cypress River, with my husband and our soon to be first babe come March. ... I started this small adventure about 6 years ago when I was tackling shift work. I decided I needed a hobby in my down time and a good way to keep my mind busy. I taught myself how to knit mainly through YouTube and grew my supplies through both grandmas. As my love and passion grew for knitting, so did my stock! I had no idea what I was going to do with all my stuff. I decided to take the leap and attend my first craft show... one thing lead to another and here I am! Recently my world of crafting has expanded beyond knitting and I have begun to create various personalized items from signs to cups to clothing! If you can think it, I will always (try to) make it happen! I am so incredibly blessed to have so many wonderful customers. I can’t thank you all enough!

Welcome to Glenboro Maker Build-a-Bag! A new concept to support local makers and build a gift for Christmas giving or just surviving the pandemic! Once you have your bag you can either give away the entire bag, specific items you know someone may love, or keep the entire thing to yourself. All items are made locally by makers you know and love! Each maker has shared two options to choose from. To build a bag there are two bag options. A full bag option ($80) includes: one c...hoice from each of the makers. A half bag option ($40) includes one choice from two makers selected by you and, a surprise choice selected by us will be added to your bag to top up your order. Orders forms can be emailed or mailed to : Box 152 Cypress River, MB R0K 0P0. Payment can be made through interact transfer to [email protected] password buildabag or cheque.
