*** SEE UPDATED WARNING AND INFORMATION AND LINKS BELOW: - FROM CYNTHIA WOODWARD *** I'VE READ THIS BEFORE BUT A GOOD REMINDER IN CASE YOU ARE HAVING A HEART A...TTACK ALONE. " Hi everyone, can you put a Not your typical forward...please read... THIS IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH READ IT CAREFULLY & SHARE IT !!!! This is from Dr. Geetha Krishnaswamy, Please give your 2 minutes and read this: 1. Let’s say it’s 7.25pm and you’re going home (alone of course) after an unusually hard day on the job. 2. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. 3 Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up in to your jaw. You are only about five km from the hospital nearest your home. 4. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far. 5. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy who taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself. 6. HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE? Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. 7. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. 8. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. 9. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!! 10. A cardiologist says If everyone who gets this mail kindly sends it to 10 people, you can bet that we’ll save at least one life. 11. Rather than sending jokes, please... contribute by forwarding this mail which can save a person’s life. 12. If this message comes around you... more than once please don’t get irritated... You should instead, be happy that you have many friends who care about you & keeps reminding you how to deal with a Heart attack. on your FB wall, without comment, only a heart, then send this message to your chick contacts. This is for women to remember its the week of breast cancer prevention! Check your boobies!! " COMMENTS: UPDATED RE: Cough CPR - my Re-Post from @3 years ago. https://www.healthxchange.sg//how-to-survive-a-heart-attac from July 11, 2017 Sorry, I just saw your Message and about 50 others. I'm now responding to all with this post reply from 3 years ago to others. __Thank you for your concern and I am happy there are people that do take the time to message corrections..... I answered several other messages about 3 years ago and made appropriate corrections on my FB site after doing extensive research and notified my friends that had liked it or shared it. ___ I don't know how to stop it now as it's in UK, etc.... However, here's the links I have added plus a note to CALL 911 Emergency First and Take Aspirin (if not allergic) but I personally would still try the Cough CPR if alone as all the links do have a paragraph that says it 'could' help temporarily if done correctly..... I did a google search ... it looks like Cough CPR is listed in a few articles. It didn't really discount this totally anywhere, but gave other options whether to believe or not... None of which really gives alternatives when alone. I'm wasn't trying to market my page, I'm was just wanting to pass on valuable info. (See links below for more information.) If you have something positive to add that can help, please do. NOTE: I likely won't have time to look at my messages anytime soon though.... (Note: The first time I posted this, I did attach that they need to check out the validity too.) For myself, I will try it after dialing 911 and taking a couple of aspirins, as I don't have another other options if alone. (FYI: Many reputable Naturopathic Doctors are saying that taking aspirins daily is a bad idea...it can also cause stomach and other problems....save for emergency. (Not under tongue... swallow fast with water.....Someone sent me this link which I just posted before: https://www.bhf.org.uk/heart-ma//ask-the-experts/cough-cpr Not really enough info for me to not at least try coughing if I'm alone though. ... Also, the Snopes article actually does say it COULD be helpful. Here's the link for your review... Now I have this link to add also.... I still see that it MIGHT help to do the cough method if totally alone - (after calling 911 and taking an aspirin if not allergic) ... but not to depend on it. http://www.snopes.com/medical/homecure/coughcpr.asp .. Another link: http://www.heart.org//Ca/Cough-CPR_UCM_432380_Article.jsp Another link: https://www.resus.org.uk/cpr/statement-on-cough-cpr/ Added another link: http://mendedhearts.org//about-heart-di/the-coughing-rumor Hope that helps for you to send to people if you see this post again. Sorry for the inconvenience of me reposting something. __ Thank you, Cynthia _______________________________________________________________________________________________

Pro Tip: Find what works for you, and aim to become the go-to person for that thing, even if that starts off being one deliverable, tool, or process.

Google will show emojis in search results. Emojis can play a big role in local search. Just check out how you can search for a pizza place nearby using an emoji.
