O God, may You strengthen our hearts that we might be fully committed to You. Why is it vital for you to regularly look to God for direction and guidance? How does it encourage you to know that God awaits your calls for help?

Father, help us in the moments of this day to see and enjoy the beauty You bring into our lives as we also look forward to eternity. How do you respond to the beauty God has placed in this world? How does beauty reflect Him?

Today's verse It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God - that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30 (NIV)

Today's verse Yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Father's] presence.

Gifts & Blessings 9 So through Christ we will surely be saved from God’s anger, because we have been made right with God by the blood of Christ’s death. 10 While we were God’s enemies, he made us his friends through the death of his Son. Gifts & Blessings 6 When we were unable to help ourselves, at the right time, Christ died for us, although we were living against God. 7 Very few people will die to save the life of someone else. Although perhaps for a good person someone might possibly die. 8 But God shows his great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:6-8 (NCV)

Teach us, God, what it means to live by Your riches today. You possess all we truly need!. Why do material acquisitions not provide long-term happiness? What have you learned from past expectations?

Today's verse And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Ephesians 2:6

Christ gave His life on the cross for our salvation. Lord, may our hearts give You praise whenever we see a cross, for You gave Yourelf for us in love.

New Year 17 If someone does wrong to you, do not pay him back by doing wrong to him. We cannot change the past, but God is changing us for the future. Thank You Lord for the work You are doing in us and through us.

Today's verse Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5

God is always present and at work. Lord Jesus, please forgive us for the times we are prone to forget You. Help us to acknowledge Your presence in our lives.

Grateful praise satisfies us and pleases God.

When we love Christ, we love others. Lord, thank you for showing us what it means to love. Help us to love like You.

Today's verse Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. Mathew 5:6

Our lives speak louder than our words. Father, help us to live in such a way that Your name will be honoured wherever we go.

God always deserves our commitment and praise. We want to be "all in" for You, Father, we trust in Your unfailing love and give ourselves to You as Your servant today.

We've been created to share God's love through giving His gifts. Dear Father, You created us in Your image and we rejoice that we can share Your love and life. Help us to see the opportunities to give to others today.

Celebrate the gift of Jesus. Father, Your Son has impacted Your world like nothing else. We're grateful He has come for our rescue and will come again to restore Your world.

Forgiveness 25 God sent him to die in our place to take away our sins. We receive forgiveness through faith in the blood of Jesus’ death. This showed that God always does what is right and fair, as in the past when he was patient and did not punish people for their sins. 26 And God gave Jesus to show today that he does what is right. God did this so he could judge rightly and so he could make right any person who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:25-26 (NCV)... Forgiveness 21 But God has a way to make people right with him without the law, and he has now shown us that way which the law and the prophets told us about. 2 God makes people right with himself through their faith in Jesus Christ.
