As a result of the massive explosion in scientific research on #concussion over the past few years, we have decided to bring you a series of new highlighted stu...dies on social media. The graph highlights this exponential increase. Search fields included Concussion, Post-Concussion Syndrome, mild traumatic brain injury (#mTBI), and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (#CTE). In 1990 there were 155 publications on concussion & related fields. In 1999, there had not been much growth showing only 181, however, by 2017 there was more than this per month! In 2019, there were 2406 publications on pubmed, which is an average of 200 per month. And at only 6 weeks into 2020, there were already more than 465 publications (100 more than the entire year of 2008)! Keep following for weekly publication highlights...
