Happy Hallowe'en All! We don't post here very often. We're kind of introverted that way, and don't invest much time and effort into the social media marketing. If you want to know, I hope you'll ask. We'd rather not fill your timeline and get in the way of the next funny meme (we all need a laugh). ... We don't want to compete with the next Amazing Life update (we all need some positivity. Now-a-days even more-so. ==== SIDE NOTE: RE: "Annoying" AMAZING LIFE UPDATES: I truly hope you're happy for their happiness. Are you annoyed by their excessive happiness? Stop for a moment and check yourself. Who's being selfish? They're likely struggling to appreciate life and desperately looking for its happiness just like you are. Likely even more than you are. Appreciate them. They are trying to contribute to your life by sharing a glimpse of happiness they have found. They've gotten out of, or avoided the dark, victimized, cries for help. THEY ARE NOT competing with you. They are competing with the next Negative, Angry, Dark, meme of conspiracy theories, anti-trust, hate-everyone-who-hates, and hate-every-"enabler"-who-doesn't-hate-the-hate.... Appreciate them. Love them. Thank them. Ok...rant over...back to our regular infrequent interruption: ==== Once in a while though we will share something with the public that might be useful information. This post was something I put out 3+ years ago internally for our membership's reference to supplement our BIOFUEL course. It's since been lost in weeds. With recent Thanksgiving and Halloween nutritional sieges, and holiday season coming up (to celebrate as we kick 2020 out the door)....we all might value some renewed perspective. The link was requested by a friend that found value in the writing a couple years ago and wanted a refresh to her motivation. (she looks amazing today BTW!) I am in a different place in my head now from when I wrote this. I remembered there were some harsh, aggressive, and offensive words used, so I felt I should review it again and clean it up a bit. I'll tell you, I absolutely needed to read my own advice again...and despite some typos, or maybe poor grammar, I wouldn't change a word. It wasn't as harsh as I remembered...couple offensive words so don't give it to your 7 year old to read. It certainly made the point where it needed to. It's still incomplete from 3 years ago. Really the biggest nuggets are in the first few chapters anyway. The rest of the fine tuning details are just that...details. If you're interested, we can explore them further...., So, if you want some cut and dry thoughts on a simple approach to body composition and weight loss goals have a read. If it's not obvious when you get there (I blame Google Sites :) click on the chapters to get into their writeup) https://sites.google.com/view/knptnfit/BIOFUEL

Tribe, With all the chaos in the world, this weekend has led us into another close to home experience. In the comments of a neightbouring box (400km away), in reply to their post "I was waiting, wondering when your were going to say something" That left me wondering, "shit...maybe I need to say something" . so I'm going to get on the bandwagon, in case it might also be an expectation. I sit up here, thankful for the small town that is sheltered in many ways. Nev...Continue reading

Such a small world we live in. Yes, this is a horrible story that happened in Nova Scotia on the other side of Canada. Yes, bad news, but...... there's always bad news, and it's way over there. We have RCMP members in our tribe, and Yes. It's now a member within their profession. We can try to understand the reality that awakens in them, every time a story comes out from the line of duty. Now. some perspective sets in. When this tragic story, is literally the very desk mate, of a KnPTn FiT tribe member. It's now a little too close to home. I reread this post from the start with this new perspective A level of shame crowded in on my soul with those initial passive thoughts... It drove me to push myself just that much harder today. In honour of Heidi, in support of Ka, in recognition of the members of the RCMP, in thoughts for their friends, families and province. https://youtu.be/6CrMFgUZ114

Great turnout this morning! Season’s Beatings 2020. Another annual tradition that has evolved with us for nearly 10 years since my first days back in Fort St John.... Happy to see a few familiar faces back again for the holidays Jon, Con, and Vicki (Vi) Tolton. Our newest out of town guest Janine Vis visiting is from a Duncan garage gym similar to our own origins Head Cheerleader Adeline toughed out and stayed strong and adorable through the 40+ min workout! There’s talk of another 10am New Year’s Eve workout !

An athlete who walked through our door in a very dark place and found a home. We miss you Ka as your life challenges took you away from us to the other side of the country. We’re so proud of how far this community we share reaches that allowed you to continue your journey. We have so much love and pride for your family and for how far you’ve come.
