To our KNSC families: Yesterday we were made aware that there were 11 confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the Trio Sportsplex.These cases were traced back to 2 games played on Tues. Nov. 11th and Sunday Nov. 15th at Trio. KNSC had no programs or players in attendance on those 2 dates. Also, our Club has shown complete compliance with all the restrictions put in place by Public Health while playing in this indoor facility. We feel that with the absence of direct contact with any of these cases, there is no risk to our players. All the same, we find it important to make everyone aware of the situation and at the same time ask that we raise the level of awareness and vigilance when inside this or any other indoor facility. This past Saturday was Coach Julio Kramer’s last session with our club. Julio will be leaving us to return to Brazil. Since 2017 Julio has developed, inspired, and worked tirelessly for the club. Registration for our Active Start program is still open! Come join us indoors at the TRIO Sportsplex During the initial covid-19 outbreak, only 4.8% of children across Canada met their recommended movement guidelines every 24 hours and 62% of children were less active. As a club, we want to ensure we provide a program that maintains our players overall well-being. Should you wish to register your child for our recreation...al program you can now pay using an instalment plan that, should we enter another lockdown due to Covid-19, any further payments will be suspended and subsequently not be taken until we restart. What will sessions look like? Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the initial sessions from November 7th to November 14th will include the following: No more than 10 people will be able to be on the field. (This includes players, parents and coaches) Sessions will focus on: Physical Literacy and Ball Mastery Can parents stay and watch?
