Worst start of the season. Could of happened say at the end of last season but nope. First we blew the mobile air compressor, then the calcium pump, then the transmission in our picker truck, Now I gotta deal with this POS ford, wasn’t planning on using it so rushing to get it safetied and it only has a couple gears left so don’t be in a hurry waiting for me. It’s gonna be a interesting spring I think I got a plan here but I’m only gonna service our loyal customers and the community with what life this truck has left in it, as much as I like to help a stranded farmer in another tire guys territory cause time is money, we just can’t do it this year.
We love our community
Well it looks like it’s time to consider changing over to the summer tires. It usually takes us about 6-8 weeks being fully booked to get everyone changed over in the area. We ask to start booking now as in 6 weeks farmers will be in the field, then it becomes really hard for us to stay on schedule with the bookings. You can message us on messenger, shop 306-554-2525 or even text me at 306-795-7985 Loose change overs are $25 per tire Change over on rims are $12.50 per wheel... Remember wheel re-torques after 50km
Just look at those new coopers!!
At -60c a fully charged battery will freeze, so with our windchill temps reaching just shy over -50 and a battery that’s weak a little it won’t stand a chance. https://blog.firestonecompleteautocare.com//drain-car-bat/
So just testing some batteries out for a customer. These where stone dead, needing a boost every time after sitting for a period of time. I believe it’s very important to make sure you keep your battery clean as you would with the rest of your vehicle. The draw is like you forgetting to turn your lights off. Any road debris like snow, salt, grease will all create a draw and kill your battery. I see a lot of ag batteries with inches of grease. I bet if I clean the casings these batteries will be 100%
Promo on OTR Tires!!! While Quantities Last!!!!
2020 Shop holiday hours From our family to yours we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
This one is for all of you that always ask me what’s the largest tires I can go with
Well now that we are into our off season months, it gives us plenty of time to do other stuff besides tires. If anyone needs anything hauled or the use of a crane let me know. For this type of work we will be charging our last season price rates. $100 for the truck callout and $1 per km, plus load time. Equals out to $100 a hr. Best to ask for a quote but that will give you a idea.
So I’m just gonna post this here so people don’t have a heart attack why. As labour law states I have to pay my employees min 3 hrs to come in to do a after hour service. If it’s a holiday it’s double time and half. Also factored in is the employer match tax deductions. I also like to pay my employees as much as I can to encourage them to come in or even drive in from out of town on there time off to help service anyone in need. -$125 to get called in on a weekend or after h...rs -$175 to get called in on a holiday. Prices do not include labour of repair or material, that’s just the fee to get called in. After hr number is 306/795-7985, fee will be applied even if it’s me coming in, only makes it fair.
