Captain Bill says the fishing was "unreal" today aboard the Bass Hunter. 11 on board and limit (66 bass) by 11:15 am. Great timing to get off the bay before the rain started.

Well that rain storm certainly didn't slow down the fishing. 10 guys with 60 bass for their limit aboard the Bass Hunter. Great day on the water!

Another good day of fishing. Limit with 8 on board!

The fishing is a little slower today on Long Point Bay but it's not stopping the fisherman. Lots of boats on the bay.

What a day for fishing. Limit caught already with 7 on board. Captain Bill reports the fishing was "CRAZY".

Might be a little choppy out there but the fish are biting. Today's charter is headed back to shore with their limit - 54 bass!

Even in an east wind Captain Bill and the Bass Hunter know where to find the fish. 48 bass by 2 pm and this crew had their limit.

For only the second time in 25 years Captain Bill has made the tough decision to cancel his opening day charter. For the first time in 40 years the Long Point Bass Derby has been cancelled too. For those of you heading out, be safe, be smart and good luck!

Captain Bill was able to find some bass today. They've made their move out of the bay but today's crew did manage to get 20!

This week didn't see any bad days. Limit before 11:30 daily except for today - it took a few extra hours today, 2:30. Hopefully the fish keep biting for the weekend. See you on the Bay!
