1 Restaurant patios have permission to open in the Grey Zone. Dance and Music schools still remain closed. 2 Restaurants in the Red zone have permission to open at 50% capacity for INDOOR dining which means people will be unmasked. Music and Dance schools are restricted to 10 people only in the building, all masked and socially distanced. 3 @koffmanacademy and hundreds of other dance and music schools in Toronto and Peel have been closed more in this past year than th...ey have been open. 4 @koffmanacademy and many other dance schools have had to turn away potential new students looking for in-person classes. 5 @koffmanacademy ‘s student count has dropped more than 60% over this past year. 6Children are desperate to dance again in-person with their friends, with space. 7Music and Dance is VITAL for the physical and mental health of our children, our future We are happy for the restaurant industry and feel Dance and Music studios need the same fair treatment. Dance and Music schools ARE SAFE. This is our livelihood. Like many other dance schools in Ontario, we feel we have been unfairly asked to once again close our doors. Dance is so important for the mental health of our children, our future. We have spent so much time and money to make our school a safe place for our students during this pandemic. We are not ‘fitness classes’ we are an educational school, a safe place for our children. Please help us.
