Sage décision. ...Bravo #DJAKOUT1 En raison du climat d'incertitude palpable qui plane actuellement sur Port-au-Prince, en plus de la tâche impossible de parven...ir à temps à une entente avec le comité du Carnaval, le groupe Djakout #1 a le regret d'informer qu’il ne participera pas aux festivités carnavalesques cette année. Nous pensons qu'il serait irresponsable si nous ne prenions pas en compte les participants qui nous suivent religieusement tout le long du parcours du défilé. Notre décision n'a pas été facile à prendre, car en tant que musiciens, nous sommes obligés de plaire à nos fans, mais en tant qu'êtres humains, nous sommes tenus d’agir de façon à ne pas se sentir coupable. La sécurité est notre priorité, que ce soit celle de nos musiciens, du personnel, et des participants. Ce serait pernicieux de ne pas tenir compte du malaise qui s’installe dans notre pays. Nous n'entendons certainement pas décourager personne à participer aux festivités carnavalesques, l'important est que tout le monde fasse preuve de bon sens, et reste en sécurité. Cela étant dit, nous souhaitons à tous un joyeux carnaval et nous espérons que la paix et la tranquillité régneront en Haïti et que Dieu bénisse ses enfants! Djakout #1 Management __________________________________________ To the public in general, Due to extenuating circumstances involving the current climate of uncertainty in Port au Prince, in addition to the impossible task of arriving at a decision with the Carnaval committee in a timely manner, we regret to inform the public in general that Djakout #1 all not be participating in this years Carnaval festivities. We feel that it would be irresponsible if we did not take into consideration the attendees that follow us along the parcours religiously. Our decision was not an easy one to make because as musicians we are obligated to please our fans, however as humans we are obligated to do so in a manner that would not make us feel culpable. Safety is our priority, whether it be that of our musicians, staff, or attendees, it would be unethical not to take into consideration the un-ease among the people of our country today. We do not discourage anyone from attending the activities, we ask that everyone use good judgement, and may you all stay safe. That being said, we wish everyone a joyous carnival and we hope that peace and tranquility will reign on Haiti and may god bless its children.

Note de presse T-Vice voudrait avant tout remercier le comité national de carnaval qui a réitéré son invitation à l'équipe pour participer au Carnaval 2016. Le ...groupe a travaillé d'arrache pieds pendant un mois pour créer une méringue carnavalesque qui est peut-être l'une des meilleures de son palmarès. Le groupe est rentré en Haïti en préparation aux trois jours gras et a répété ardemment pour satisfaires ses fans inconditionnels. Toutefois, il s'avère que vu la situation économique et politique du pays, nous nous voyons dans l'impossibilité de participer au défilé cette année. Le moment n'est, à notre goût, pas propice vu l'incertitude qui règne au sein de notre pays. T-Vice, étant un leader responsable et engagé, ne saurait inviter ses partisans à le joindre au Champs de Mars sans pouvoir garantir leur sécurité physique. Nous tenons à remercier tous ceux qui nous supportent depuis toujours; nos sponsors, nos amis et surtout nos fans. C'est avec le coeur lourd et après de longues concertations que nous avons pris cette décision. Nous serons présent néanmoins l'année prochaine prêt à rassasier tous les amants de la musique haïtienne. Merci Press Note T-Vice would first like to thank the National Carnival Committee who reiterated its invitation to the team to participate in the 2016 Carnaval. The group has worked tirelessly for a month to create a carnival song which is perhaps one of its very best. The group flew into Haiti in preparation for the three days and eagerly rehearsed in order to satisfy its hardcore fans. However, given the economic and political situation of the country, we see ourselves unable to participate in the parade this year. The time is, in our opinion, not suitable given the uncertainty that prevails in our country. T-Vice, being a responsible and committed leader, could not ask its supporters to join them in Champs de Mars while unable to ensure their physical safety. We thank all those who have been supporting us for the longest; our sponsors, friends and especially our fans. It is with a heavy heart and after extensive consultations that we have come to this decision. We will be ready next year, however, to satisfy all lovers of Haitian music.
