Hello everyone, with the new restrictions, for now, we will be available for one-on-one training only. Unfortunately, senior and youth fitness classes are temporarily suspended and members can come to use the gym by appointment only with my supervision. You can freeze your memberships for the duration of the closure if you choose to, your billing and usage cycle would reactivate when the gym opens back up. Just let me know if you would like to use this option. For everyone who rented equipment and it has expired, remember you can send an e-transfer to [email protected] Thank you all for hanging in there with us

Should I take Whey or Casein protein? They are both good sources of protein and can have a place in your diet in order to hit your daily protein intake Whey is typically cheaper and mixes better so it can be easier to drink. On the other hand, Casein tends to be more expensive and often does not mix well compared to Whey, resulting in a thicker and sometimes clumpier consistency.... If your goal is just to stay in shape or lose weight, it’s best to use Whey protein, but if your goal is to gain muscle mass, wil be great use both Whey protein and Casein. Protein Pancakes Ingredients: 1 cup oats 1 banana... 2 eggs 1 tablespoon of vainilla 2 teaspoons baking powder a pinch of salt a pinch of cinnamon 12 scoops protein powder 2 tablespoons almond flour 1 tablespoon of honey Instructions: 1 Run everything through the blender on medium low speed until very well mixed. 2 Heat a nonstick griddle to medium high heat. Add batter in small circles about 1/4 cup per pancake. When the edges start to look dry (2-3 minutes), flip and cook another minute or two on the other side. 3 Top with anything you like! I like syrup and peanut butter and chocolate chips.
