Closing the first edition of HI-GLOSS VIRTUAL FESTIVAL, we have the one and only Robert Ouimet from Montreal. Reputedly the Godfather of Montreal Disco, Robert Ouimet's career as a dj started in the early 1970's at a small club on Guy Street. His obvious talent for moving and grooving the crowd was soon noticed and mid-1973 he was approached to join the in-house staff of The Lime Light, where he remained as their principal dj from 1973 to1981, winning Billboard magazine’s Best Canadian DJ Award in that same span.
