VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Although we are not allowed to be open as a museum yet, Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village is looking for Volunteer Gardeners to help beautify the Village for this season and get it looking amazing for when we can reopen! Any donations of perennials and annuals will also be greatly appreciated! If you enjoy being outside and can help us out in any way please contact 403-627-3684 or email [email protected]. There are a few Community Garden plots still available for rent as well. If you wish to garden and grow your own produce but don't have room in your yard, the plots here are a great way to make it happen!
While we wait for the Museum to be allowed to reopen, please visit us at Pioneer Place and The Country Store! Open weekdays 10 - 4:30 in main log building.

Our Country Store and Offices remain open, though our Pioneer Village portion is still under museum closure restrictions. Until we can meet again in the Village: Did you know you can take an audio tour of Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village from your computer or device? All exhibits and buildings currently have audio nodes allowing you to virtually visit any part of our museum and hear the stories behind, at your own pace. Do a building a day or binge as many as you want.... https://www.kootenaibrown.ca/pionner-village Also check out our Youtube Channel, RadioKBPV Podcast, or our Story and Image archives, all available from our main Page.
