First harvest from the new mushroom shack. Mainly built for King Oysters and lions mane, two of our favourites that we had trouble growing well and consistently in the outdoor shade house. It’s not exactly finished but is functioning and appears to work! It will soon be loaded up with more shelves and more mushrooms, hopefully lots of Lions Mane and King Oysters at the markets this year. The old shade house will continue to grow shiitake and oysters and experiment with others.
