Being human is a colorful experience.

Anatomy is its own language. It can seem completely foreign at first, but the more you practice it makes sense and you start to be able to speak anatomy. For instance, many anatomical terms are just abbreviations of the two words jammed together. A good example of this is the iliolumbar ligament, which runs between the iliac crest of the hip and the lumbar spine. Just like speaking a language, it can feel awkward at first, but learning to speak anatomy becomes easier over time.
