I remember driving by this area in 2003, where a massive wildfire ripped through this area and destroyed a majority of the trees. Since then I had never visited this specific spot until this past weekend. I never realized how absolutely beautiful it was and seeing the perseverance of all the new trees growing was truly incredible.
