We have a long overdue thank you to express to Fran Larsen. Fran was the volunteer coordinator of The Dental Access Fund that operated for 19 years! The DAF rel...ied 100% on donations from the community to operate the volunteer program under the umbrella of Trail FAIR Society. Since 2001 $305, 000 was raised and supported 1310 clients in the Kootenay Boundary! Unfortunately, the DAF had to close it's doors in March 2020. We are so grateful for the years that we were able to work in conjunction with them, providing dental care to those who may not have been able to obtain it otherwise.
