NEW ALBUM - MARCH 1ST Each day I'm releasing one of the tracks on soundcloud - feel free to have a listen. https://soundcloud.com/koovy... I'm soon releasing a new album entitled "Coming in to Peace" a collection of 21 voice memos from 2017-2020. Some are complex, some are simple, and in some you hear people talking in the background, or birds chirping, or me screwing up and going back. They hold a special place in my heart, because they are so simple - just a moment of time usually right after I wrote the song, where I sat down and sang it all the way through. Some of these songs have changed since this - rewritten verses, added a bridge, little things here and there. But I think there's something special about being able to listen to a song right when it happened. With each song I've found a photo I've taken on or around that same day. The photos and the songs capture moments in time, each in their own way. Thanks to Kieran Lynch for mastering all of these songs.

Well just like that my brand new EP 'The Promise' is live. Huge thanks to Connor on the fiddle and vocals, Alex on the guitar, and Pieter on the drums. Koh for the amazing cover art, and Mitch for mastering this whole thing as well as Drew for co-writing the title track 'The Promise' with me in Arkansas at The House of Songs. In January of this year in a little basement apartment so small I had to wash dishes in a basin on the floor, I sat down in a circle around a mic with my friends Connor J. Lucas on the Fiddle and some Vocals, Pieter Huyer on the drums, and Alex Panneton on the guitar. Together these three dudes helped bring some songs I had written over the past few years to life in a collaborative, thoughtful, and friggin dope way that I never thought was possible. I'm more than excited to ...share this music with all of you in an EP entitled "The Promise" that will be available on all platforms stating September 15th 2020. A shoutout to Mitchell Stuart for the mixing and mastering (not easy when you just send the dude one file per track) and to Drew McLaughlin who co-write the title song 'The Promise' with me as part of The House of Songs in Bentonville, Arkansas in April 2019. Just over a year ago I was in Bentonville AK with The House of Songs writing with a new artist every day and performing my music. One of those songs I co-wrote was The Promise with Andrew McLaughlin and I played it a few days later with JD Clayton - two wonderfully talented writers and players. I'm excited to say that I've recorded 'The Promise' for my new EP that's coming out soon, and on it you'll hear drums, guitar, and violin. Hey all! I'm super stoked to say I've been recording some new music with the talented Connor J. Lucas, Alex Panneton, and Pieter Huyer.
