Just to let you know Koru Healing Arts will be closed from December 24-28 and December 31-January 4. I still have 1 opening on both December 29th and 30th.

Here is something to lighten up your day!

I have 2 openings available this week if anyone is needing a massage. Tomorrow, Wednesday July 15, at 11:15 am and Saturday July 15 at 3pm.

In case someone needs a massage pronto I have an opening tomorrow Friday July 3rd at 12:30 for an hour.

I return to work tomorrow June 9th and want to give you an update on the new protocols. Please wait in your vehicle until I come to get you. I would appreciate you washing your hands for 20 seconds once you are in the office. I will have hand sanitizer on the desk or you can wash up with soap in the bathroom.... For your peace of mind I want you to know that all linens associated with each treatment will be kept in their own lidded containers. Before treatment the table cover, stool, chair, door knob, lotion bottle etc. will be wiped down with sanitizer. I will be supplying cloth masks which you will need to wear when lying face up on the table. While lying face down I will have a pillow case suspended from the face cradle to act as a sneeze guard and to allow you to breathe more easily. I will be wearing a mask throughout the treatment. After your treatment all linens will be returned to their lidded container and removed to the laundry room. I ask that you touch as few surfaces as you can to help minimize potential touch contamination. I would prefer payment for treatment was via etransfer and am willing to accept cheques and cash. Now after all that take a deep breath and think happy thoughts!

As many of you know Dr. Henry has given RMT’s the go ahead to return to work. Some of us are returning immediately as of May 19th and others, such as my self, are giving a little space to develop our strategies for the new protocols. I will be opening my doors again on Tuesday June 9th. I will be seeing a maximum of 3 patients per day. There will be a half hour break between patients so I may properly sanitize before the next patient arrives. The days of operation remain the same but the hours are changing. Tuesday and Friday I will be available from 2-6 and Wednesday and Saturday hours are 10-2. Thank you for your patience as I instigate this new path.
