overjoyed to receive this copy of home body, which we pre-ordered as soon as we could a few months ago. @rupikaur_ is one of our favourite authors, we made sure to take her first two books that we absolutely love to school, they are currently sitting on khush’s nightstand in England. Years ago, we had the pleasure of attending a little poetry event celebrating women empowerment where we did our undergrad @uofwaterloo and were pleasantly surprised to find rupi reading from her first ever published book milk and honey. She is one of the most down to earth people we have ever met, she is such an inspiration. Check this book out if you haven’t already, especially since the holidays are coming up it’s a great gift to give or receive
