Hello everyone! We try to teach what we were taught growing up. Our camp is based on the knowledge and experience we have gained throughout our careers. We want the young players attending our camp to train like we train. We were lucky to come from a hockey family and have people around us with extensive knowledge of the game. We just wanted to offer some advice for those of you who did not grow up in a hockey family or are new to the sport. Everybody wants to see their kids ...learn, improve and have fun. Do your research! There are a lot of GREAT camps and GREAT coaches out there so make sure you get what you pay for! Look into who is running the camp and where they obtained their knowledge and experience from. What are their credentials? What are they basing their teaching on? Some camps have instructors that have played at very high levels; some even with NHL experience. But some camps have instructors that have never actually played a competitive hockey game. Some people ask me why our camp is different? My simple answer is that we’ve played the game. We did not learn how to skate in a classroom and we did not learn how to stickhandle from a book. Every coach/instructor that we have on the ice has professional hockey experience and a lot of knowledge to share. So, before you sign your hockey player up for any kind of hockey camp, do your research; because your hockey player might have more experience than the instructor running the camp!
