Any vehicles arriving after we have reached the 50 car limit will be kindly asked to leave as we want to ensure that we can continue to host these events for our community in the future. See links to all of our local restaurants in the comments! We also want to thank all of the individuals and businesses who have helped to make this a possibility on such short notice. - Matt Rivard for providing/operating the projector and fm transmitter. - Blue Sky Distributing LTD for providing the porta-potties and garbage disposal. - SL Enterprises LTD. for providing the cones for traffic control and partition. - Wright's Food Service Ltd for providing the box truck (our screen). - Mile 0 Park and Campground for providing the location. We had a great time filming an original song by one of our piano/vocal instructors Naomi Shore last week! She has openings available for lessons, so if your wanting to learn to play piano or work on your vocals contact our office today at [email protected] to find out about our available times! "Naomi Shore has laid bare her rich heart with solo album Piece by Piece. She’s branching out, but leaning in, and the result is a ripe sound born of deeper self inquiry. It is ...refreshing, powerful, unapologetic, but funny in the way that very honest things should be. With raw heart and sharp wit, she delivers performances that are at once contemplative and clever; vulnerable songwriting is buoyed by surging vocals as smooth and full as deep water. Folded into all this are flecks of desert country, blues and classical piano. For this storyteller and love of sad songs, crafting music has become more than her trade. It is a way to process life, to send a searching had out though the mists of a melody and connect with the world." LINKS www.naomishore.ca Filmed live on the KPAC stage. (March 18, 2021)

KPAC presents: Lorissa Scriven "Lorissa has an indefinable quality, a wildness like unkempt grass. She grew up in a small town set deep in the yawn of the Peace River Valley in Northern British Columbia, and her life has been rich in music and wild places. Feeding the wildfire of music within, since 2009 she has been recording, touring and creating music with an eclectic mix of artists across Canada. Her album ‘Be the Change’ and collaborations ‘Wildwood Soul’ and ‘The Gold...en hour’ reflect, in their diversity, her deep respect for beauty in all its forms. With silky-sweet vocals and a rich cast of instrumentals, her music feels like the fondest road trip memories, or lazy days in the long grass; like a golden afternoon’s dreams. She chooses to be inspired every day, whether by a deep and winding conversation, a fleeting moment of light, or a wayward feather found in the woods. She’s working hard at breathing life into her dreams, and making some potent music along the way." 00:00 Start 00:01 Candy Coated 05:54 More Than I Should 10:17 Too Lazy 15:28 Save The Last Dance Follow Lorissa Scriven @ Instagram and Youtube @Ellescriv www.facebook.com/ellescrivmusic www.ihugtrees.com Filmed live on the KPAC stage. KPAC presents: Rose Prairie Romance "Rose Prairie Romance is a rock band based in Northern British Columbia. Formed as a trio in the summer of 2015 with Ryan Sebastiano on vocals and guitars, Conor Okrainec on bass and Mark Bodner on drums, the band expanded its sound in 2016 with the addition of Ben Norris on lead/rhythm guitars and Dana Pederson on keys. In 2020, with Ben moving from the North Peace area, Daniel Smart (former bassist for CBC searchlight Top 10 finalists Sca...rlet Sway) has been added to the lineup on guitar. The band released their debut self-recorded album "Renovations" in the summer of 2020, releasing four singles in advance: Closer, Take Me Away, Stay and Holding Strong. The album was recorded over a year and a half period in Fort St. John, BC for what started out as a "let's record these songs before we forget them" project which eventually found its way to a CD, Vinyl and Digital release. Citing a wide range of influences from Houndmouth and Shakey Graves to Banner Pilot and Tom Petty, the band has a sound that mixes rock, groove and feel into their own distinct musical vibe. They are well known in their local music scene as a band that delivers a consistently entertaining and diverse live set, whether playing fully plugged in or dialing back the volume for an intimate acoustic performance. Over the years the band has performed at several local festivals including Canola Fest, Northern Groove Fest (2 times, but who's counting), Dawson Creek's Big Chill, and the North Vale Music Festival.
