Happy Women and Girls in Science Day! A message from our president for Women & Girls in Science Day! In every company where I have been employed, women have only accounted for 5-10% of roles outside of administrative positions. When studies show that female students only account for 20% of enrollment in post-secondary engineering programs, I’m determined to do what I can to encourage more women in STEM. When my son and daughter enter the workforce, I want them live the imp...act of our actions today. Another statistic showed that 54% of women lost their jobs during the pandemic, despite only making up 39% of the workforce. We must do our part to improve this disparity. I am very proud to be in a position to make these impacts at KPM Power and set an example for my kids. #womeninstem #girlsinscience #nationalwomenandgirlsinscienceday #science #technology #math
