Hopefully lots of Christmas entertaining to be done around this Solid Ash bar that went out recently! I made a few angle iron brackets to bridge the gap between these posts, and filled this slab with some @ecopoxy to stabilize the crack. Each year there’s one.my favourite piece. This year for me it was this solid 3 thick edge grain Ash countertop. Had it cut on the CNC table to wrap around the neighbouring marble countertop perfectly, and the whole top and matching leg was treated to a coat of @rubiomonocoat White. It really highlights the grains in that Ash wood. A gorgeous piece in an absolutely stunning kitchen. Finally getting over the crazy work load from this summer and had a chance to get out and start taking pics of some jobs from the last few months. Loved this little accent wall to spruce up my clients dining room. She picked the colour and I couldn’t love it more, came out fantastic. The basement I recently wrapped up was in preparation for my clients wedding which was being hosted at their home. They had asked for a table to be built which they could have all their guests sign the bottom of so they could keep it as a special memento. This Ginko slab I’ve been saving was the perfect piece. In Chinese culture the Ginko tree is revered for its beauty and represents longevity and endurance, it was meant to be! Loved being involved in preparing their house ...for their special day and was thrilled to be able to make this table for them! Here’s some shots of a small laundry room reno I did last week. My clients wanted a countertop above their machines and some shelving added between them and an existing sink unit they had. I mounted this Wormy Maple countertop, installed the vertical gables between the machines, then added a gable to the existing sink so I could bridge the gap with some shelves and connect everything together to form one solid unit. Numerous coats of Tung Oil to finish, and voila! Lots of small projects wrapping up this week, one of them was this pair of Spalted Cedar side tables. I sanded these to a very high grit and numerous coats of oil, the finish was spectacular and smooth as glass. Recently delivered this stunning Walnut dining room table and matching bench. The top is finished with @rubiomonocoatusa natural and the legs are powder coated a nice satin black. I got a chance to try out @rampatec threaded inserts and absolutely love them, will certainly be using them again. They provide a much cleaner and more professional method of attaching the legs. I added the wood accent wall and painted the room this nice bright Schooner White he chose. I actually love to paint, so it was a nice change of pace.
