The Ocean Seeker underwent a refit at A.F. Theriault & Son Ltd. to install hard points for mounting the ALARS, Tentacle Winch and KATFISH - collectively, this is known as our SeaScout system. Additionally the twin 1000HP CAT engines were overhauled, and some other miscellaneous mods were made for easy mobilization of the SeaScout system. #DYK: The Ocean Seeker was originally built by A.F. Theriault & Sons Ltd.? At that time, the vessel was known as the Royal Canadian Mounted... Police patrol vessel 'Murray'. The Murray was stationed out of Burin Newfoundland and was mandated to perform customs and border patrol between NL and the French island of St-Pierre-Miquelon.
