Vaccines have been developed (at record-breaking speeds) and vaccinations are in process, to take care of the big overarching problem; yet the bad seeds in society still feel the need to lay blame and act out on innocent Asian citizens. Why? Because the virus was an accident that originated from China?... Asians and Pacific Islanders add so much technological advancement, diversity and rich culture to society, and the hate that is being spread right now breaks my heart. Change is imminent in race relations. And this change of rising hate-crimes against non-white communities is not the right change. Every little action towards this end-goal of positive change is a win. It starts at home, and as trivial as this sounds, it’s time to start the diologue to make sure everyone is correct in their thinking.
