April 7, 2021: These 2 little ladies are looking for names! They must have something to do with their moms names. The white one is out of Dream Girl (we have a Gossip Girl out of her already) and the black one is out of Horizon.

Meet 12F! She had a set of twins this morning! 12F is a twin herself with sister 13F. 23 is their momma. 23 also had another set of twins this year! Twin genes obviously run strong in this bloodline! Will sister 13F have twins this year too!? Guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

March 23, 2021: We are officially 2 weeks into calving! We’ve got 31 calves on the ground and are 35% done! Just hoping that this weather stays the way it has been Bonus pictures of our special girls who we are oh so patiently waiting for to calve!

A big thank you to Angela and her team at Nutrisource for the Christmas gift, and an even bigger thank you for making sure our cows are eating better than we are and keeping them in tip top shape while producing the best quality milk that they can! Also, a reminder to look for the blue cow logo while doing your grocery shopping, especially during this holiday season and recent lockdown. With restaurants closed again, there will be less milk products consumed and needed, but our cows will still be producing the same amount! If the milk isn’t being consumed, it goes down the drain... Your local dairy farmers are small businesses too

It’s super cool to see the little friend groups form in and out of the barn. There are certain dairy cows and heifers that are always together. The orphan beef calves that grow up in the barn with the dairy think that they are also dairy and when they have to go back with the beef they just hang out with their dairy friends at the fence line. ... We also have 2 Highlands and 2 Speckle Parks that are always together in their own little outcast group.
