Getting ready for Nostalgia Days!

Wahoo! It’s almost time for Canada Day Celebrations! We cannot wait to serve our scrumptious plates of poffertjes at the Oxford Community Centre on July 2 during the parade. See you there! Just so you know, the berries are as fresh as fresh can be.

A big thanks goes to the Norwich Chamber for giving us the opportunity to serve our poffertjes on their tour last night! We had a grand time at the goat farm with our desserts! We are super excited that strawberries soon-to-be in season! They make excellent toppings.

We've covered a lot of ground in the last few weeks so we thought we would do a post to remind you of all of the different items we serve! 1) Poffertjes. Poffertjes are our go-to treat! We typically only serve poffertjes at medium-large sized events because they are the fastest (and most popular) item. Making poffertjes helps us to be the most efficient and keeps our guests from having to wait in a long line for their food. 2) Smoothies. When time permits, we sometimes serve... smoothies with fresh fruit! 3) Waffle-On-A-Stick. We have also served delicious waffles-on-a-stick at events, however they do take longer to create so we haven't done this too often! We also chose to get into the poffertje business because of the food industry! Being in this business allows us to be creative in so many ways! One small plate of poffertjes has so many ways and options to make it delicious!
