Winter break is just a few weeks away! But before that, we have to cross the terrifying bridge of end of term assignments and of course, final exams. If you're already starting to stress out, you might want to check out a relaxing and calming event we have coming up: Follow Along Yoga this Friday November 27th from 7 PM to 8 PM EST! It's an event you definitely don't want to miss!
Ah, autumn has finally made an appearance bringing with it chilly mornings and bitter winds! As enchanting as this season is, I think we can all agree that we can use a little warmth this week. And what better way to spend Friday evening than cozying up next to a bowl of warm Thai Red Curry and basmati rice? Join us this Friday October 9th from 7:00 PM 8:00 PM EST for a follow along vegetarian cooking demo led by a special guest all the way from good ol’ Texas! Here are the... ingredients you’ll be needing: - 2 cans of coconut milk - Basil - Red Peppers - Red Miso paste - Lemon grass (fresh or powder) - Cilantro - Salt - Sugar - Hing (asafoetida) - Coriander powder - Ginger - Smoked Paprika (or any kind of chilli powder) - Tomato sauce or paste - Rice vinegar or lemon juice - Extra firm tofu - Any vegetables of your choice (cauliflower, carrots, and sweet potatoes are good choices) You’ll also be needing a blender and an Instant Pot. But if you don’t have an Instant Pot, that’s fine; the recipe can easily be adopted for the stove too! -Your friends at York Bhakti Yoga
