Have you heard of this?? I actually had most of my babies adjusted on the way home from the hospital! When dealing with colicky babies, this is one of the first go-to’s and often brings amazing results.

*LOCAL FRIENDS - Please pass on to pregnant mamas in our region as I know many who birth/plan to birth in Edmonton* Update from Edmonton Doula Association: Edmonton Hospital Doula Restrictions **update 13/03/2020 9:30pm... The Edmonton Doula Association has been in contact again with all hospitals in our area and at this time there are several methods of screening that are happening: Misericordia- 1x person per birthing person ( doula or partner ) not both **may stop midwives from coming in too** Screening downstairs in Emergency ( Kelly the charge nurse said so ) Grey Nuns - 2x persons permitted : Doula & partner ( both must pass screening to be allowed up to ward) RAH: - 2x persons permitted: Doula & Partner ( both must pass screening to be allowed up to ward) **no official policy yet nurses to use discretion** Sturgeon - 2x persons permitted: Doula & partner( both must pass screening to be allowed to ward) **no official policy yet nurses to use discretion** Lucina - still waiting on a contact to confirm Fort Sask - No answer when I called A great way to prepare as well would be to document whether you have been sick or presenting with any of the symptoms of Covid-19 or have travelled within the last 30 days. This will help you get through some of more temporary preliminary triages that have been set up before being allowed in to the actual units for assessment. Be aware that you and your support person/people could be assessed upon arrival to the hospital before being allowed on the unit
