If you’ve been wondering what I’ve been up to during this Covid time, I’ve been busy turning my basement into my own personal gym. I’ve still been training clients and doing private classes in my basement and it’s been working out very well. I’ve also been furthering my education and studying massage therapy. There's still some spots left! Don't miss out on my outdoor Women's Fitness classes! We start July 7 every Tuesday & Thursday from 6:30PM-7:30PM for 4 weeks. Classes are run at Lion's Park in Oakbank (corner of Aspen and Laurel Bay). All you need to bring is a yoga mat, a set of dumbbells and a long resistance band with handles. Extra equipment can be borrowed out and sterilized. The workouts are challenging but caters to beginners and are always modifiable. The workouts incl...ude walking/jogging, weight training, balance, agility, deep core work and stretching. Everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace. Hi everyone, I'm excited to launch my new outdoor classes at Lion's Park starting June 2nd! There are some changes due to COVID-19 with new safety measures. The class won't be run via stations anymore and you will need to bring 1 or more set of DB's and a band with handles. I will have some available to borrow but make sure to let me know if you don't have any to make sure I have enough. Even though we are limited in equipment, I will not be limited in ideas on making the cla...ss interesting and challenging with new exercises and a new program format. The classes will still be changed up and progressed every week.There are also some changes in how I do paperwork and payment as they will have to be done online. Payments are done via etransfer and the paperwork will need to be sent to me online before classes start. I have a couple different methods to help accommodate everyone. Right now I’m trying to figure out my life with kids at home. I’m realizing that if I don’t act fast and make a schedule, the kids are going to laze around all day watching screens or fighting and I’m going to spend way too much time on social media and freaking out about the economy. So I decided to make a schedule, which I know my children thrive on and will keep us all more active. I’m not trying to do this to be an overachiever but to try to survive being isolated with my kids. Here’s my schedule I made for today. I recommend writing out a schedule in the evening and make a plan. We’re all in this together right?

SPRING SESSION STARTS MARCH 10 for Women’s Fitness and 55+ Women’s Fitness! There’s still some spots available and space for dropins. Make sure to check with me if there’s space first! Let me help you get in shape for summer with my fun and challenging workouts designed just for women! A wide variety of exercise equipment is used to make the classes interesting and different every week and include: slide boards, TRX straps, stability balls, bosu, dumbbells, Barbells, benches,... bands, mini bands and more! This session runs from March 10 till April 30 for 7 weeks total. There will be no classes March 31 and April 2 (Spring break) Classes are held at Springfield Wellness in Dugald. Spots are limited and are first come first serve. 2 different types of classes to choose from: WOMEN'S FITNESS is for women of all ages and fitness levels but is a little more challenging and progresses at a faster pace than the 55+ Women's Fitness. Classes will be every Tuesday at 6PM & 7:15PM for 1 hour each and Thursday at 7:15pm & 8:15PM for 45 min each. It includes a warm-up, total body strength exercises set up in stations, balance training, some cardio, pelvic floor exercises and stretching. Proper form, movement patterns and posture will be taught and the program is progressed every week. 55+ WOMEN'S FITNESS is held every Tuesday & Thursday at 1PM-2PM. This class is set up very similar to Women's Fitness. However, there is more focus on development of proper movement patterns, improving balance and pelvic floor (deep core) strengthening. It includes a warm-up, total body strength exercises set up in stations, balance, some cardio, pelvic floor work and stretching.
