It’s officially less than 1 week until baby Malfara’s due date. I can’t wait to meet my little niece!! My guess was she would be here by the end of this weekend, and time is running out so I think I’m losing this one. I CANNOT wait for Olivia to have a little cousin so close in age to her, c’mon little one, we’re waiting for you!!

We hit it off so well on our first coffee meeting, and I knew they were a couple I wanted to work with right away. I was so excited when Amy sent me the message that they wanted to move forward and book with me. Pro tip: ALWAYS meet wit...h your couples before booking a wedding/elopement. Vibing with each other is one of the most important factors in capturing great memories. Choosing your photographer is so much more than a style and price, and choosing your couples is so much more than just getting paid. Fact: One of the lovely things about winter is the chilly days that are perfect for being cozy and cuddled up inside, sitting by the fire, watching movies and eating comfort foods. Who’s with me? Do you prefer to be outside a lot in the winter, or cozied up inside?

For those who don’t already know, this is who’s been stealing up all our time lately. My husband and I welcomed a beautiful little girl into the world on January 12th. We’ve been soaking up every second with Olivia, and adjusting to our new life as a family. To all my clients, I appreciate your patience and understanding while I’ve been a little absent.

I’ve searched my heart over and over again to try and find the right words. The truth is, no words could ever describe how much I truly love you my child.

Sending out allll the vibes for more of this in 2021, more time together with our people.

2020, the year that no one will forget. I laid wide awake in bed last night for 2 hours trying to fall asleep, so I ran through the whole year in my head. I noted that there were many lows, like everyone, but there were also so many highs for us. For most, the emotions, stresses, uncertainty and frustrations brought on by the pandemic were the worst. I can’t say it was easy for me, but my lowest low was losing my father in January. I spent a lot of the year grieving, and sti...ll have a lot of hard days. Thank goodness for all the highs to combat the hurt. Alex and I both grew our businesses, we got to spend more time together at home, and came to realize more than ever who the most important people in our lives were. We took some serious leaps that terrified us both, but thankfully worked out and were so worth it. The most important thing I’m taking away from 2020 is how much stronger our marriage grew. I had my best friend beside me for the craziest year of my life, and I thank god for giving me such a loving and supportive partner. When we found out we were expecting, it was such a beautiful distraction from the chaos. We can’t wait to enter into the new year, and kick 2021 off growing our family by one. To all my clients, friends and family; thank you for your constant support and encouragement. Without it, I wouldn’t be where I am. You guys are what inspires me, and keeps me going. I can’t wait to see what 2021 has in store for me with respect to photography, and I’m excited to crush the goals I’ve set for myself. I’m all done weddings for this year, and I have to admit I loved how small and intimate they all were. Every one of my couples had to replan and make changes to their day, but they were all perfect, and the most important thing is that they ended up married just as they wished.
