There is so much darkness in the world and I'm finding myself stewing in anger more often than not. This is why I wanted to create a piece that would remind me of the only constant in my life. Something that would fill me and maybe even others with hope. God is so amazing. He takes us as we are and he doesn't expect us to clean up all the mirky moldy water before he wraps his arms around us. He thinks about each one of us and he wants us to have a life full of peace even ...if our circumstances aren't that peaceful! He is still my God and no one can take that away from me. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 See more
Beula Rose is 6 months now! She is so full of life and excitement! I love watching the world through her eyes as she discovers everything for the first time. I'm enjoying having this little model all day! ... hopefully when she learns to say no it won't be to letting me dress her up surrounded by fruit. Although she is the most high maintentance model I've worked with. We had to break for a diaper change, food, and a 2 hour nap.
Beula is an easy laugh! All I say is "Hello" and she'll burst into giggles.
I miss walking through New West enjoying the unique homes!
My beautiful mom picked up the viola 7 years ago after spending most of her life wishing she could play an instrument. I always admire her for taking on the challenge and keeping with it. I love seeing her eyes light up when she's practicing and has to share with whoever is in the house at that moment. It usually starts with "Listen to this! I just had a breakthrough!" @ Ram River Falls
I've been guilty of having the idea stuck in my head that if this certain thing would happen that it would change everything. If I get this job it'll be what gets the ball rolling faster for my photography, if I could just get a better camera, or take a certain course, or move to a different place then whatever feeling of peace, validation, confidence or happiness I am chasing will come. However, I am learning that whatever state I am in to be content, enjoy it, and everything will fall into place. @ Red Deer, Alberta
It's taken a few weeks since our move back to Alberta to feel like myself again but thanks to my husband for being such a support and convincing me to pull my camera out even if I don't feel like it. It's these little projects that bring me so much joy and keep me sane. Thank you to my little sister for modeling! I hooe you enjoy the photoshop journey of how I got to the end result. ... @ Red Deer, Alberta
This is an ongoing project where I capture individuals in the spaces they create, live, and get inspired in. If you are in need of a creative portrait that encapsulates your personal story, get in touch with me! And let’s begin the process of creating your unique portrait.
Jamie-Lynn. She is the youngest in my family and it's amazing to watch her grow up. She has bits of everyone's personality molded together to make one strong, compassionate, hilarious little lady.
Katherine, a beautiful friend from home that Steph and I had the chance to work with. Every time I get in the studio, have a chance to execute an idea, or apply something I am learning I feel like I get that much closer to my dreams and goals. It's wonderful. MUA @stephmadeitup Model @_katmara
"Help! I've fallen and I can't get up." Steph and I worked with Julie this past week to create some images inspired by Uptown Girl. I loved how things evolved during the shoot into a broken barbie doll. I am definitely looking forward to more collaborations with these two.
We had an incredible shoot at Britannia Shipyards today! It was so much fun meeting our model, Ross. He definitely captured the character and made me laugh a lot.
This is my beautiful wedding ring! We are learning about product photography and I must say the solitude of a quiet studio, lights flashing, and a subject I can move however I would like is very inviting. I still need my people but this is very fun! Peoples Jewellers
So this is obviously a little different than what I have shown everyone in the past! We are learning about light painting and I am really enjoying making these photos. It makes me feel creatively satisfied when all I use is a cell photo and a paper towel to light my subject. I hope you all enjoy! As always, I would love to hear your thoughts below.
This shoot was all about fashion and trying to sell the outfit. Steph and I have done many photoshoots together but this time she was the model for me and two fellow photographers. I was amazed by how well she did and I loved the makeup look she chose. So happy she is willing to let us practice our skills on her! So tell me! Would you buy this outfit? Makeup by Steph Bueckert
