Like many of you, I had big goals, plans, ideas, and dreams for 2020. I accomplished some of them (read 20+ books) and missed out on others (travelling to St. Maarten with Curtis to shoot our first destination wedding). It would be easy to look back on this year with frustration and bitterness for all that was lost but truthfully we have so much to be thankful for. Some highlights for our family were finishing the loft above our garage and welcoming an amazing tenant into o...ur lives and home (we love you @heidepo!), exploring our beautiful property, raising chickens, building a pole barn, splitting and stacking lots of wood, listening to and watching many incredible pastors and leaders from around the world, and spending extra time with our little family. During the early stages of self isolation when church first shut down our family would watch various services online each week. Our second daughter, Tessa, invited Jesus into her heart while watching an amazing children’s church lesson from Gateway Church in Texas. Technology really is an incredible thing! We have much to be thankful for this year. Most of all we find our true hope in Jesus, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever!! (Hebrews 13:8) Happy new year!! See more
