Orange Level changes in PMH Prairie Mountain Health has moved to the Restricted (Orange) Level of the Pandemic Response System as of Monday, August 24. Indivi...duals in the Prairie Mountain Health region must abide by these rules: Wear a mask in ALL indoor public places, including businesses, and at all public gatherings indoor and outdoor. Public gatherings are limited to 10 people indoors and outdoors. Only one visitor is allowed in personal care homes. To clarify some other questions our office has been receiving: Masks are recommended for employees of businesses but not mandatory. Capacity limits for churches (30 percent) and recreation facilities (50 percent) have not changed. Retail businesses and restaurants may continue to operate at 100 percent. The use of masks will not be required for those actively engaging in athletic or fitness activities. Sporting events may continue to proceed. However if for example a team has a barbecue after a game or an event other than the sport, the adherence to the group size of 10 and the wearing of masks is required. Of course all cautions need to continue to be followed such as staying home when sick, practising social distancing, hand washing/sanitizing and cough etiquette.

To all of my sweet and patient clients: First, I want to thank you all so much for your continued support and patience. I am so grateful for all of you! I want to give you all a quick update on what’s going to happen now that it’s June and the province has announced Personal Services can resume! ... Government safety orders and social distancing will be in effect, and I am asking that all clients respect and abide by these new rules. Personal safety for myself, my family and all my clients is the number one priority. Now, for the most important question I have been getting asked.....HOW and WHEN will I be rebooking everyone?!? We will resume services on Tuesday June 16th I will be keeping this process as simple and as fair as I possibly can: The first clients cancelled at the beginning of this pandemic will be offered appointments first. March, April and May were fully booked, so this will be a bit of a lengthy process for me to navigate through. I am asking everyone to please be patient with me during this time as not everyone will be able to get appointments during the first few weeks of reopening. If you had an appointment booked, I will be contacting you to reschedule. Please be patient and wait for my call, I promise I’ll call For anyone who did not have an appointment booked before the mandatory lockdown, you have been added to my waiting list! There will be strict limitations during the initial phase of reopening my nail and lash services. ONLY ONE SERVICE PER CLIENT, NO EXCEPTIONS ( if you are a nail, pedi and lash client, I will only be able to offer you ONE of those services at this time until everybody has a chance to receive an initial appointment). I hate to enforce this new one service per client policy but I have to. It is fair to all of my clients and allows me to service all of my clients fairly until we establish our new routine. I will require at least 24 hours for cancellations. Any last minute cancellations, late arrivals (10 minutes late for the scheduled time) and missed appointments will result in a fee (50% of scheduled service) as I could have filled that spot with another client who is waiting on a service and it is a loss of income for myself. At this time, it is very important for me to ensure everybody is receiving fair and equal treatment. For the time being, I will only be offering basic sets of nails, unfortunately no nail art, intricate details, chromes or French ombres. I will be opening up multiple service options and detailed nail options when everybody has been booked an initial appointment. Moving forward, I will only be booking up to 2 months in advance. A NEW schedule will be in place and may be adjusted later on during the summer months. I am also parenting full time and need to ensure my son’s safety also. I will be available: Monday OFF Tuesday 9-2 Wednesday 2-8 Thursday OFF Friday 9-2 Saturday/Sunday CLOSED

To all my nail and lash clients: The salon will be reopening in Phases! Phase 1 begins on May 4th and includes hair stylists and massage therapists! ... Phase 2 includes personal services such as nail salons and is set for no earlier than June 1st. Phase 3 includes other Esthetic services such as lash extensions, lifts and tints. This Phase has no set date, to be determined later on. Since my services are part of Phase 2 & 3, I might only be able to offer nail services until it’s determined when I can offer lash services again. Unfortunately there is with no set date for me to return to work and waiting is the hardest part . I do understand that the social distancing measures are in place for a reason but I cannot offer my services with these restrictions in place. As soon as I know of an opening day, I will be personally contacting all my clients by phone or text who had appointments booked with me before the closures began in March. All clients that had appointments booked that were cancelled due to covid 19 will take priority at this time. Please be patient as I work hard to reschedule all appointments in a timely manner, don’t worry I will call you as soon as I can! Any new clients wanting to book will be welcome to either call the salon and leave a message or text me @204-851-3848 once I have reopened. When I am able to open, I will be taking extra precautions to ensure social distancing measures are followed and will be practicing extra cleaning procedures for everybody’s safety. I kindly ask that you do not enter the shop if you are feeling ill or showing symptoms of flu or cold for everybody’s health and safety. I will continue to disinfect shared surfaces throughout the day and ensure we are all practicing safe hand washing frequently. I hope this brightens your day and gives you something to look forward to, a new normal that includes some bad ass nails and lashes

We’ve just found out we can REOPEN Monday, May 4th for hair and massage service. (Appointments upstairs will be coming soon!) We are currently contacting clients who’s appointments were cancelled due to the closure in March as they have first priority.
