Photo Challenge Day 28 - Antique It all started with a cup of tea my husband handed to me at my computer desk and then an idea popped into my head! Tea party anyone? Tea drinkers how do you take it? Black, with cream, milk or sugar? I like mine with a splash of milk just like my Mom. :)

Photo Challenge Day 27 - Purple Missing these warm summer days with blooming flowers like this. Purple was my daughters fav colour for the longest time but this past week she's decided yellow is now her favourite! Funny how kids change their minds.

Photo Challenge Day 26 - Eyes My beautiful girls My husband comes from a family of all brown eyes except for his Dad and mine is a family of blue eyes but I was born with green. It's funny as brown eyes are a dominant gene but we had girls with blue and green eyes. :)

I had the pleasure to photograph local authors Charley Best & wife Cathy Connally a few days ago. They are releasing their first book in 2021 called "Flavour with Benefits" (1st book in a series of 3!) and they asked me to take their author photos! I was over the moon as this is now the second book my photos are in! Photo Challenge Day 4 - Home If you've ever had a studio session at my home then this is the first thing you will see. A wreath that changes with every season. Always simple but adds a welcoming touch.

Now and until the end of the month I'm giving $50 off studio newborn sessions for January-April due dates! My prices are increasing in the new year so now is the time to book at my current rates. Also how sweet is this little guy?! Tag anyone who's expecting!

Miss Porter has grown up so much in the last year! It was so nice seeing this wonderful family again and what a beautiful location too! I normally hate winter but I am loving all my winter sessions!!!

Photo Challenge Day 3 - Weather Even though this is not something you technically want to see hanging from your roof, there is something magical about them don't you think?

It can be tricky getting teenagers to be in photos but once I suggested a snow ball fight they were game!

Loving the coordinated plaid the ladies had on! Dad is one lucky guy to have 3 lovely ladies!

*Photo Challenge Day 2* - PET This is one of my cats Donuts. We adopted her from the Grey-Bruce Animal Shelter 1.5 years ago. Her full name when we got her was Donna Donuts because the donut lady at the Keady Market found her there and brought her to the shelter. She had clearly been abused by someone as she had injured back legs. She does not like to be pet on her lower back now but her legs are good as new. I thought this photo was fitting for her as she LOVES to be outdoors or look out the window keeping an eye on things.
