1 Year A year ago today I was travelling home from Europe to head into isolation after spending a few weeks walking around Germany with a bar of soap in my backpack, washing my hands at every place I could. In the couple weeks that followed, I watched the world close and my industry collapse. I watched everything I had worked for disappear.... In the year that followed, I stayed home. It was a year of loneliness and cancelled meetings. Of missed travel and missing people. It’s been a hard year where I haven’t always been the best at picking myself up. But in the end, I made adjustments and I found new opportunities. Summer of Golf This summer has included many rounds of golf for me. I typically enjoy golfing but usually only get the chance to do it a couple teams each season. This year was different. When I realized golf was one of the first sporting activities to be allowed during the pandemic, I knew I’d be doing a lot of it. Last week I golfed with my brother at @predatorridge in Kelowna and it was beautiful - this is where my photo is from. I’ve really enjoyed golf this summer... and now I’m planning a tournament!
