Been creating feels good to go out of my comfort zone and create new art. I have so much respect for these girls, dang can they move their bodies. We had the most incredible stormy night, but it was the movement they created that made these images breathtaking.ok not theeese images but just wait Limited sessions; Sept 9th.

At least he’s photogenic. For reference on how big the shot was before I added a swig of water...I give you the closest thing available, a top hat. Then my fudge, the top hat and ma herbs. It wasn’t even a little bit terrible... but I’d already wrestled the cat for the fudge so I had to eat it! ... Loved photographing a glimpse of my life because it was so simple and pretty and made me smile. Happy weekend friends.

I visited Kawartha Natural Health Clinic, its day one of taking my formulated just for me, herbs. The way the light was hitting the bottles while I read my report card, I decided to photograph it. Lotus, the ginger in the photos was also just as interested it too. I was in my head about how awful it was going to taste, so I didn’t do last night or this am so I picked up some fudge from The Butter Tart Factory in Douro, on my way home from work, to chase this elixir. When i...n doubt add sugar. So I learned. You add water to the 1.5ml and its wayyyy less than a shooter. My cat is obsessed with fudge. There’s no need to smell everything. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been on here. Life’s been tough the past 16 months but I am resilient. Okay fine, sometimes I have to put real clothes on and do my hair to remind myself just how resilient I am. But here I am with a smile and two feet on this earth. This November I picked up my camera again and worked with past clients creating for the first time in a lonnng time. There were some tears and stories shared and little faces that weren’t so little anymore. But m...y heart was so full, I received art work, special rocks and my favourite jelly bean. Y’all, thank you for showing this old girl I still have it in me. As we enter lockdown, I am anxiously looking forward til I can photograph again. Frames are officially up! It’s not perfect and there may or may not be a hole (or more ) behind a few....but I did it by myself unsupervised so what were you expecting ?! The inspiration was 3 vintage gold frames with my parents in Halloween costumes circa 1984. All frames are white and/or gold and all photos are black and white. On a deep green wall. I see it from my editing spot, and walking down to tuck kids into bed. Some have been up for months and and I still stop an...d touch them. I can’t wait for my print order from @pbophotoservice.

I don't photography weddings anymore, but when good friends ask, you always say yes. Its moments like this that make me miss them just a little bit.
