This sibling shoot was a special gift for their Dad’s birthday. Becoming a young adult is such a milestone that isn’t captured enough and as a big sister myself to an amazing brother I saw the significance in this day beyond the actual photos.

Anyone book a shoot on daylights savings and not move the time? No just me? Cool. Yeah this family was incredible handling my oops! We made it just in time to catch the sun go down and it turned out to be the best mistake ever! These skies in Alberta have been something out of a dream and I’m so excited to deliver this gallery tonight!

My goal every time I shoot child portraits is to follow their lead and let them have fun! I give minimal direction and allow loads of time to get them comfortable in front of the camera. Some kids need more time, and others nail it within seconds of sitting down! This stunning beauty could have stayed all day! We just had a blast!

How did we go from fall to winter to fall in less than a month??? I am loving this! Who wants to get outside with me? I will keep shooting this beautiful weather while it’s here.
