Hello all! Would like to apologize that calendar didn't happen, film work was all consuming and time get away from me. However, I do have a couple of canvases for grabs. They will be arriving early next week. They both 2416, and they are all about color, spring and warmth that we miss so much this time of year.
I am thinking to do a calendar with some of my photograph. Would there be interest?
Waterfalls are a majestic thing!
It is been a little while since I posted and even longer since I uploaded pictures to my laptop. I tell ya, there is a bit of a backlog So, for the next few days I will be posting photographs that been taken during that time. Enjoy!
The Golden Hour light on an apple blossom
Love them or hate them, Dandelions are a work of art!
We live in truly amazing province here in Nova Scotia, with an incredible selection of wild flours, and of cause some not so wild. I am just not able to pick one or two, so here are selection of a few I observed in the last few days. And the wildest flour of all is Ms. Luka
Photography is one of my favorite things - I just love capturing the way I see the world. But it is also a lot of work, not every picture is good enough, sometimes I go days or even week without liking anything I capture. Then - editing and marking. All of it is time and energy, and sometimes I don't have. But there is no greater pleasure for me to see you enjoying my photograph, I appreciate every single "Like" and comment. So, here are few more of "Spring" pictures
Ever heard of "The Golden Hour"? I had a chance to shoot cherry blossoms during that time. Gotta say, it was so incredible! The next morning, the tree was buzzing with our bee friends - they became a focus of my shoot for the morning.
Wonderful and fascinating birds: Mallard Ducks and Ospreys.
I find every picture I take have a story. The muskrat: this one lives across the road from my place. Usually see them early morning and in the evening when they go out for a snack. Very cute and timid animals, I love watching them. Chickadee: fascinating little birds, and fearless! Squirrel: This is my squirrel, he lives in my yard and really enjoys his seeds. He seems to know every time I refill the bird feeder... or maybe it is just squirrel feeder. He has a few battle sca...rs, and missing a part of his ear. I think he deserves an extra snack. The little snake: they come out right now to warm up on paths and rock. Keep an eye for them and don't be scared. An osprey: every year ospreys come back to this nest to have their babies, looks like this one was guarding the nest as partner is either looking for materials for the nest or fishing. Love watching them fish around Waverley. A crow: smart, slick, fascinating. A goose: this particular goose was stalking us as we were walking and fishing along the shore. And by "we" I mean myself and my dog Luka. Geese are very territorial and protective, I assume we were close to a nest and this particular goose was not happy with that. Occasionally, Luka would start barking at the goose who would honk back at her. Thankfully, it was too cold for full on chase the way Luka does in a summer time. After about 20 - 30 minutes, I think we were far enough that we were left alone. See more
So this is something different. Wanted to create something a bit more dramatic, pop those colors, make you look twice at the image. Thoughts? (and yes, it is the mayflower)
A couple of birds from a few walks. I find them them hard to capture but fascinating
